We copy your finished MP4 files to a Blu-ray data disc, much like copying files to an external drive.

The authoring work

From video files to a finished disc.

We agree on the presentation, content and deliverables before production. Your project can include:

Source preparation

Review the supplied files and prepare the video and audio for the agreed Blu-ray format.

Menus & scene selection

Clear visual navigation, including animated scene selectors using the approved menu style.

Titles & chapters

Organize programs, alternate versions and chapter points in the order you approve.

Master production

Create the authored disc structure and deliver a master disc or ISO, as specified.

Quality checks

Check menu navigation, chapter links and representative video/audio playback before final delivery.

Disc identification

Clear identification for physical discs, so each volume and its contents are easy to recognize.

Authoring covers the on-screen disc experience and agreed masters. Packaging artwork and elaborate printed disc illustrations are outside this service. Editing, restoration and additional revisions are scoped separately when needed.

Clear scope before production

A quote based on the actual work.

A single program and a multi-disc collection need different preparation, navigation and testing. We review the material before confirming the price and schedule.

Actual running times, source formats, audio and menu assets determine the disc allocation. We choose the output format and quality settings for the material and intended player, then confirm how the collection fits.

Custom authoring is part of our video editing and production services. The written quote identifies the included work and deliverables.
